ADCS warmly welcomes members of the community to apply for membership and take part in supporting the aims and activities of the charitable trust. ADCS is committed to inclusivity, equality, and ensuring all members are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
MEMBER ENTITLEMENTS, ROLES, RIGHTS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be treated with respect, fairness, and dignity
- Support the religious, cultural, and charitable aims of ADCS
- Receive information about ADCS meetings, activities, and community matters
- Attend general and annual general meetings, where eligible
- Vote in line with ADCS membership rules
- Raise concerns or suggestions respectfully through the proper process
- Support the aims and values of ADCS
- Help maintain peace, trust, and unity in the community
- Take part in ADCS in a positive and respectful way
- Encourage good working and cooperation within the team and organisation
- Act respectfully towards trustees, members, volunteers, and the wider community
- Avoid behaviour that causes unnecessary upset, division, mistrust, or harm
- Not make or spread rumours, false information, or allegations about ADCS or anyone connected with it
- Raise concerns properly, calmly, and respectfully
- Keep your membership details up to date
- Renew your membership on time if you wish to remain a member
- Follow ADCS guidance and rules
- Each member has one vote
- A member may vote only if they are a fully registered member
- To vote in a trustee election or general meeting, a person must have been a member for at least 3 months before the date of the vote
Membership fee and Annual subscription
Membership fee for the current year: £5 per person

Please note:
- ADCS will have a short first membership year from 1 May 2026 to 31 March 2027.
- This start date will apply to all approved members, even if the application is approved after 1 May 2026.
- From 1 April 2027, the normal membership year will run from 1 April to 31 March each year.

● Membership is subject to approval.
● Membership applications will be reviewed in line with the ADCS procedures and policies.
● Applications will be reviewed and processed within 14 days of receipt.
Membership renewal – Members who wish to continue should renew their membership before the start of the new membership year. Renewal will usually require payment of the renewal fee and confirmation that the member still agrees to follow ADCS guidance and rules.
